Stakeholders join forces to develop the Fehmarnbelt region
Copenhagen, 28th February 2012
Stakeholders
of the Fehmarnbelt region are now cooperating to create a new region with a
more strongly integrated economy, labor market, tourism, culture and politics.
The link that binds it all together is the Fehmarnbelt Fixed Link, which is the
biggest transport infrastructure project in Northern Europe.
The cooperation of stakeholders has decided to establish a joint large scale cooperation and event on the development of the region. The event addresses a broad scope of participants covering the entity from Scania in Sweden over Eastern Denmark to Schleswig-Holstein and Hamburg in Germany.

The FBBC selects new chairman and welcomes new member

On August 17, 2011 the annual FBBC Council Meeting was
held in the premises of Lübeck Chamber of Skilled Craft. It was at this meeting
that the FBBC Chairman for the next 2 years was elected. Matthias
Schulz-Kleinfeldt, CEO of Lübeck Chamber of Commerce and Industry follow Uli
Wachholtz, President of UVNord, an association of entrepreneurs in Northern
Germany.
